Maggie

Age: 7

Nature of Injury/Disability: Cerebral Palsy, Microcephaly, Seizures and Vision Impairment.

HBO Treatment start: June, 2005

Updates: 6/06 - Since her treatments, Maggies hand and arm movements have improved by signing "go" and "more" with her right side. There has been a drop in spastic bilateral kicking of the legs and feet. Her overall mood has greatly improved and her therapists have noted an increase in her cognitive awareness. Kayla

Age: 20 Months

Nature of Injury/Disability: Cerebral Palsy

HBO Treatment Start: October, 2005

Updates: 12/05 - Kayla's movements in her hands and fingers are more relaxed and can bring her hand to her face. There has been improvement in her head control and can stand for longer periods of time. Shortly after treatements started, Kayla started to sleep through the night.

Kristin

Age: 11 Years

Nature of Injury/Disability: Lack of oxygen at birth resulting in mild brain damage

HBO Treatment Start: December 2003

Updates: 2/06 - Since HBOT treatment there has been an improvement in both fine and gross motor skills. Although her speech is still extremely delayed, we have seen improvements in expressive speech.
