The neurological damage left her unable to do anything for herself including the ability to hold up her head. We were told at the time of the injury not to expect more from her than what we saw.
Miracles come in all shapes and sizes. Ours came in a precious little girl weighing 4 lbs. 13 oz. Maggie struggled her way into this world in September of 1999, seven weeks premature. Her brain suffered from lack of oxygen, resulting in significant developmental delays. She has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy, microcephaly, seizures and vision impairment.
Conventional therapies helped, but as parents we were desperate to see our miracle children improve and achieve their fullest potential. After the first forty sessions of HBO Treatments, we noticed significant changes in our girls disposition. They were more relaxed and began sleeping through the night. After the next forty sessions, they began to track movements, smile and make delightful vocalizations. The therapists are all convinced that HBOT was one of the greatest keys to their progress. The girls have taught us the true meaning of hope and inspiration.

So, was formed A&M Hyperbarics for Hope, a family owned and operated business. Chip Bunzel, father of Abby, and Noel Daly, grandfather of Maggie came together to keep this hope a reality and to share the benefits that hyperbaric services provide.
